Impulse Recruitment are currently recruit for a Yard Operative / Reach Stacker Driver for a large company based in D 15

The role of the General Operative & Reach Stacker is to aid in the workshop and yard. You will report to the Transport Supervisor and Workshop Manager and ensure that all tasks are carried out with health & safety at the forefront.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Yard Operative and have experience using a reach stacker as a driver or a lot of experience working as a Yard Operative
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Specific Roles Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Connecting and disconnecting tanks for heating
• Collecting and distributing HGV parts and materials
• Shunting trailers to Test Centre
• Driving the container reach stacker/handler
• Inventory management
• Verify product and tanks correctly
• Keep the yard clean and free from hazards to ensure a safe working environment
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment
• General housekeeping of the site
• General ad hoc duties, as requested by Management

The position involves ensuring the company, its depots and its employees are operationally informed and accountable of all Operative matters.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS COMPETENCIES EDUCATION:
• Leaving Certificate or equivalent
• Full clean Driver’s License (CE License would be an advantage, but not essential) • Good problem solver • Ability to use initiative • Excellent communication skills • Fluent written and spoken English • Diligence • Health & Safety conscious EXPERIENCE: • Minimum 2 years General Operative / Similar • Reach Stacker Licence an advantage, but not necessary as full training will be provided
