This is a Permanent position and an excellent opportunity to gain a long-term carer
- Early starts Six day week – Early morning start at 4:50am finish at 1pm, with Saturdays starting at 6am. For morning shift only.
The organized Floor Manager to supervise all floor activity including assisting customers, monitoring staff and managing inventory.
The Floor Manager is responsible for ensuring that all floor requirements are met.
To be successful as a Floor Manager you should have excellent interpersonal skills and be highly organized.
Floor Manager Responsibilities:
- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
- Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc) .
- Supervise staff.
- Manage inventory.
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
- Assist customers with any queries or requests.
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provide.
Floor Manager Requirements:
- A Secondary School Leaving Certificate qualification or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a food & drink distribution managerial position.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in Sales would be advantageous.
- Highly organized & self-starter – Distribution of deliveries starts at 5am six days per week.
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices/ Use of SAGE 200 order processing system an advantage
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Leadership skills and ability manage staff
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills.
