Overview
Impulse Recruitment are seeking a reliable and physically capable Van Driver to join a busy removals team. This role involves handling, lifting, and transporting furniture nationwide, ensuring safe delivery and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out daily van driving duties for furniture removals • Load, unload, and handle furniture safely and efficiently • Nationwide deliveries and collections • Ensure all items are secured and transported without damage • Provide excellent customer service on-site and during moves • Complete jobs on time and follow scheduled routes • Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any issues • Work as part of a team during larger removals • Follow all health & safety procedures
Requirements
• Full clean B licence • Experience in furniture removals or similar physical work is a strong advantage • Ability to lift, carry, and manoeuvre heavy items • Comfortable with nationwide travel • Good communication and customer service skills • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently • Strong work ethic and positive attitude • Immediate availability preferred
