Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Van Driver / Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative for a large company based in Dublin 11.
This is a full‑time permanent position with an immediate start for the right candidate.
Candidates must have experience driving a large Van much bigger than a standard Transit Van, and must have a valid forklift licence
Candidate will be driving to different locations as part of removals from homes and businesses along with being in a Warehouse
Overview
This role is varied and hands‑on, combining van driving, warehouse duties, and forklift operation. The successful candidate will work as part of a busy removals and logistics team, handling furniture, managing warehouse tasks, and supporting nationwide deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out daily van driving duties for furniture removals • Load, unload, and handle furniture safely and efficiently • Complete nationwide deliveries and collections • Operate a forklift for loading, unloading, and warehouse movements • Pick, pack, organise, and manage stock within the warehouse • Ensure all items are secured and transported without damage • Provide excellent customer service on‑site and during moves • Complete jobs on time and follow scheduled routes • Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any issues • Work as part of a team during larger removals • Follow all health & safety procedures
Requirements
• Full clean B licence • Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance or Reach) • Warehouse experience essential • Experience in furniture removals or similar physical work is a strong advantage • Ability to lift, carry, and manoeuvre heavy items • Comfortable with nationwide travel • Good communication and customer service skills • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently • Strong work ethic and positive attitude • Immediate availability preferred
