Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Transport Planner located in D 15 Working as part of the Operations Team, The Transport Planner is to be responsible for the overall day to day transport planning for specific customer groups and/or geographical areas.
Reporting to the Transport Manager who in turn reports to the Operations Manager, the position is a key operational role which contributes to the development and implementation of the company’s Values, Policies and Services.
Qualifications
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Min 2 years in a similar role within the logistics or transportation industry
- Good communication skills
- Good written and spoken English
- Excellent organisation skills
- Lateral thinking.
- Analytical and good problem solver
- Ability to use initiative
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
