Impulse Recruitment delighted to be recruiting for a trainee transport/ load planner to join a large company based in Galway
This is a full time permanent position
The successful candidate will learn to plan, schedule and manage the distribution of loads effectively and efficiently.
This will involve managing company vehicles and working with logistics / warehouse team to dispatch trucks in a timely manner.
The candidate should be self-motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible, willing to take responsibility and comfortable working as part of team.
Duties to include planning routes , booking boats, liaising with customers dealing with drivers, rostering drivers, monitoring drivers breaks, organising delivery papers, and all other associated duties of a busy transport office.
Shift – 14.00 -22.00 = 2 pm to 10 pm
