We are seeking an experienced Solar PV Electrician who is SEAI registered as an approved installer.
Applicants must be fully qualified and authorised to sign off SEAI domestic solar PV installations.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in domestic and commercial solar PV installations, excellent fault-finding capabilities, and the ability to lead electrical teams while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Experience with systems and products such as SigEnergy, Solis, and Tesla would be a distinct advantage.
This role also offers the opportunity to become the company’s Quality Control (QC) lead.
Key Responsibilities Solar PV Installation
• Install domestic and commercial Solar PV systems in accordance with SEAI requirements and industry best practices
• Ensure all electrical works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Commission and test Solar PV systems upon completion Inspection, Maintenance & Servicing
• Carry out electrical inspections and maintenance on solar PV systems
• Undertake servicing, repair, and maintenance activities in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
• Ensure optimal system performance and reliability Fault Finding & Technical Support
• Assess and diagnose faults on Solar PV systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment
• Provide technical support to customers and internal departments within Blackwell Energy
• Assist installation teams with technical problem-solving on-site Quality Control & Leadership
• Maintain a consistently high standard of workmanship
Support and lead electrical installation teams where required
Assist in developing and maintaining quality control procedures
• Ensure all installations comply with SEAI regulations and electrical standards Health & Safety
• Follow all company health & safety procedures and site requirements
• Ensure safe working practices are adhered to at all times
• Maintain clean and organised work areas on-site Required Skills & Experience
• SEAI registered Solar PV installer (essential)
• Qualified electrician with relevant certifications
• Proven experience installing domestic and commercial Solar PV systems
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong understanding of electrical regulations and Solar PV standards
• Full clean driving licence Preferred Experience
• Experience with SigEnergy systems
• Experience with Solis inverters
• Experience with Tesla battery systems
• Experience leading installation teams
• Previous quality control or supervisory experience
