Typical Activities will Include:
- Effective ‘Lead Management’ by generating new leads through exceptional verbal and written communication
- Identifying new business opportunities and growth areas
- Ability to coordinate, prepare, complete and submit clear, concise and engaging tender documents
- Complete presentation slides as part of tender process
- Attend client meetings and site visits
- Create, manage and build client database
- Effective reporting of new business pipeline and tender progress to the Managing Director
- Maintain an efficient bid management process
- Continuous improvement of sales materials
- Attend networking opportunities
- Ensure KPI’s are achieved
- Identifying useful trends for your company.
- Maintain an active tender library.
- Attend relevant industry events, conferences and seminars to keep abreast of industry trends
- Actively promote our services across social media channels
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as Hospitality, Tourism, Business Management.
- Experience in the Irish hospitality sector ideally within the Irish contract catering sector.
- Keen interest in food and keeping up to date with food concepts and trends.
- 2 years Business Development / Sales Experience.
- Exceptional written and oral communication, and proficiency in the English Language.
- Exceptional skills with all Microsoft applications.
- Knowledge of the ETenders platform.
- Proven record of achieving and exceeding targets/KPI’s set.
- The ability to manage time is a large part of this role; therefore, is its essential that applicants are proficient in managing their time successfully.
- Travelling throughout the Republic of Ireland is a large part of the role; applicants must have access to car and hold a full clean driver’s licence.
- The ability to be proactive, organised and handle work under tight deadlines.
- A professional demeanour that is representative of the company.
