Impulse Recruitment is seeking a reliable and physically capable Rigid Driver to join a large company and nationwide delivery team based in Meath covering Nationwide

This role involves multi‑drop deliveries, manual handling, and daily interaction with customers across various offices The ideal candidate will be physically fit, enjoy manual lifting, and have a strong passion for driving and logistics.

This position is Monday to Friday, delivering to offices all over Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily rigid truck deliveries to offices nationwide.
• Carry out multi‑drop routes to corporate, retail, commercial, and industrial clients.
• Load, unload, and manually handle goods safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all items are secured and transported without damage.
• Provide excellent customer service at each delivery point.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects immediately.
• Follow all health & safety procedures and transport regulations.
• Work closely with operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.

Legal Requirements (Ireland)

To legally operate a rigid truck (Category C) in Ireland, the candidate must have:

• Full, clean Category C licence
• Valid CPC Card (Certificate of Professional Competence)
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Up‑to‑date CPC modules completed annually
• Right to work in Ireland
• Strong knowledge of RSA regulations, road safety, and tachograph compliance

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Rigid Driver (multi‑drop experience an advantage).
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual lifting throughout the day.
• Enjoys hands‑on work and has a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced logistics environment.
