QA Compliance Officer

Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Compliance Officer for a large company based in D 12

About the role

The role will include monitoring production to drive GMP standards to ensure all products manufactured comply with all food safety, quality and legal requirements and monitoring warehousing activities to ensure all products at goods in, storage and during picking are handled in a manner that complies with all food safety, quality and legal requirements. You will be responsible for reporting all findings to the Department Manager.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Monitoring production to ensure adherence to all Quality Assurance Procedures including spot checking product and records produced during production runs
2. Checking and signing off on records during production
3. Internal Audits including hygiene, glass and plastic etc.
4. Managing visitors including those on site for routine services, maintenance and calibration
5. Investigating customer complaints and non-conformances
6. Verifying physical location of stock in the warehouse against our stock management system
7. Spot checking of picked orders for vans
8. 100% checks on orders picked for large retailers
9. Spot checking of stock takes
10. Monitoring goods in to ensure adherence to all Quality Assurance Procedures including spot checking product on receipt
11. Checking and approving physical labels against artwork on delivery.
12. Administrative tasks

Qualifications & Skills

Essential

• Fluency of English Language both verbal and written
• Highly self-motivated individual showing strong self-discipline and extremely self-organised with a strong ability to work off their own initiative.
• The ability to follow tasks and assignments through to completion.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Works well as part of a team
• Good knowledge/ experience of warehousing

Desirable but not essential

• Quality Assurance/ Technical experience

Other requirements

• Flexibility- overtime may be required at busy periods during the year. Working schedules are subject to change depending on the requirements of the company.
