Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Team Lead for a large company based in D 12

This is a full time Permanent position and a great opportunity to join a fantastic company

Main Duties:

Cut & wrap the product to the required specifications.
Labelling and packing of the product as per product specifications
Maintain the highest standard of primary packaging.
Ensure product is packed accurately – quantities & weight.
Adhere to strict HACCP regulations.
Adhere to the Production Policy and procedures at all times.
Ensure the Production cleaning schedule is carried out accurately with attention to detail.
Adhere to the Production dress codes as per specific areas.
Ensure Production documentation is completed and kept up to date at all times.
Ensure all goods are utilised in the correct rotation by applying FIFO (first in first out) to minimise stock obsolescence.
Ensure correct handling of stock to prevent product damage.
Adhere to manual handling requirements.
Be aware of temperature control in the relevant areas.
Awareness and adherence to allergen requirements and controls.
To carry out a stocktake as requested and required.
Notify the Supervisor/QA team of any quality issues as they arise.

Operational Requirements:

Effective communication and working relationships at all levels, escalating issues as appropriate.
To assist the Supervisor in carrying out the daily tasks and team management, and to work as a Supervisor in their absence to carry out the following tasks:
Manage production lines to ensure efficient product runs are achieved.
Assign job tasks according to production schedule

Ensure the production policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
Ensure production documentation is completed and kept up to date.
Ensure recording of production in the system.
Adherence to the Food Safety and Quality Management System.
