Production Scheduling Assistant

Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Scheduling Assistant for a large company based in D 11

This is A Full Time Permanent position and a great opportunity to join a large team

Reporting to the Logistics & Production manager,   the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that NPP’s production schedules operate efficiently and effectively ensuring timely delivery of products to the customer base.

Given the nature of the work and tasks, this role is not eligible for consideration for remote or hybrid working and is fully onsite from 8am to

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Attend daily production meetings
  • Planning, scheduling, and co-ordinating production of NPP’s products
  • Manager slitter machine plan.
  • Create worksheets for production team
  • Order entry.
  • Use completed job sheet to create and remove stock from SAP
  • Co-ordinate with production team to ensure production flows evenly.
  • Adjust schedules as necessary to meet delivery deadlines
  • Handling production disruptions and other problems with productivity.
  • Reporting / providing data on production costs to production manager.
  • Create and control Teams groups for all production streams that can be viewed and shared.
  • Create documentation for delivery and send documents to transport office
  • Liaise with the sales team regarding completion of jobs

  • Advanced excel user

  • Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Ability to communicate across other departments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office & Teams
  • Knowledge of SAP Business One or other warehouse management
