Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Payroll Officer for a large company based in Ballymount Part Time 3 days per week

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- End to end processing & payment of weekly and monthly payroll for 150+ employees in a busy organisation.
- Set up new employees and employees cessations
- PAYE, PRSI, USC management through Revenue On-Line Services
- Submit weekly balancing reports to Stakeholders to include employee expenses.
- Update and maintain holiday entitlement calculations to include public holidays and holiday planners.
- Maintain various logs relating to training, expenses.
- Address and resolve employee queries.
- Work with company database programs to process payroll.
- Periodic support to the accounts department when required.
- Check and submit invoices to Accounts monthly.
- Ad hoc duties as required.
- Completion of weekly payroll journals and weekly payroll reports.
Qualifications for Payroll Specialist
- Experience of end-to-end payroll processing of weekly and monthly payroll for 150+ employees in an organisation.
- Experience with bulk file uploads experience regarding payment of wages is required.
- IPASS or similar qualification preferred.
- Proven experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment required.
- Strong knowledge of Taxation and Irish Employment Law
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience of Bright Pay system or similar.
