Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator for a large company based in Dublin City Centre
This role will be fully on site and is a Permanent position
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Logistics Co Ordinator with Air Sea and Road and must have a passion for logistics
Salary: 35-45k
Working Time: Monday to Friday
Duties:
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate international shipments via air, sea, and road from origin to final delivery
· Arrange bookings with airlines, shipping lines, and transport providers
· Plan cost-effective and efficient transport routes and schedules
· Monitor shipment progress and resolve delays or disruptions

- Monitor shipment progress and resolve delays or disruptions
Freight Operations (Air, Sea & Road)
- Manage air, sea (FCL/LCL), and road freight shipments end-to-end
- Prepare and process all relevant transport documentation, including:
- Air Waybills (AWB)
- Bills of Lading (B/L)
- CMR consignment notes
- Coordinate with carriers, ports, airports, and warehouses
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and cargo requirements (including dangerous goods where applicable)
- Track shipments and provide status updates to stakeholders
- Handle delivery scheduling, container movements, and transport planning
Customs & Compliance
- Prepare and submit import/export customs declarations
- Classify goods using HS codes
- Calculate duties, VAT, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin)
- Handle UK–EU customs procedures (post-Brexit)
- Liaise with customs authorities and brokers
Customer & Supplier Coordination
- Act as main point of contact for customers and partners
- Provide updates and resolve shipment queries
- Liaise with carriers, warehouses, and customs agents
Administration & Systems
- Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation
- Use logistics/ERP systems for tracking and reporting
- Prepare performance and cost reports
Cost Control
- Obtain and compare freight quotes
- Negotiate rates with suppliers
- Monitor costs and margins
- Verify supplier invoices and raise customer invoices
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to transport, safety, and customs regulations
- Manage claims for lost or damaged goods
- Stay updated on regulatory and industry changes
