Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Junior / Intermediate Transport Planner for a busy logistics operation based in Enniscorthy.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with planning experience or a strong transport background looking to step up to join a growing team.
The Role Working as part of the Transport & Operations Team, you will support the day‑to‑day planning of routes, drivers, and deliveries. You’ll help ensure schedules run smoothly, customer requirements are met, and all transport activity is carried out efficiently and safely.
- Key Responsibilities Assist with daily route planning and driver scheduling
- Monitor deliveries and resolve issues as they arise
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams
- Update systems with accurate transport data
- Support compliance with company and legal requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the transport function
- Requirements 1–3 years’ experience in transport, logistics, or planning (ideal)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good IT skills (TMS experience an advantage)
- Problem‑solving mindset and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well as part of a team
