Impulse Recruitment for a Junior Accounts Payable Technician for a large company for a large company based in D20
This is a Permanent role and a great opportunity to join a busy operation
Junior Accounts Payable technician to support the Accounts function for their branches in Dublin and other counties
Reports to: Finance Manager
Salary: from €26,500.00 negotiable depending on experience
Main Tasks / Responsibilities: ·
Processing supplier invoices (coding and posting up onto Navision system)
· Reviewing POs match invoices before posting them up onto Navision system (checking if it is correctly coded, price match etc.) ·
Preparation and processing payments (Electronic payments and cheques)
· Maintenance of vendor cards
· Dealing with suppliers to resolve account queries if any
· Ensuring the correct supporting documentation is available for audits
· Maintaining Petty cash
· Staff expenses (matching receipts to expenses claim form, passing for approval and processing payment)
· Banking Ongoing (posting transactions up onto Navision system) ·
End of month journals (Diesel and Petty cash) Required knowledge & experience:
· Knowledge of Accounts Payable processing systems (ERP) an advantage.
· Purchasing and Accounts Payable.
· Microsoft Office experience. (Excel and Word)
· Ability to work in a team environment.
· Well organised and experience meeting deadlines.
· Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
· Sound level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
