The European Road Freight Operator is responsible for the full coordination of European import and export road freight movements. This includes managing shipments end‑to‑end, ensuring compliance, maintaining accurate data, and delivering a high standard of customer service. The role supports operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and commercial performance across the European road freight division.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full operation of European road freight import and export shipments.
- Coordinate daily with customers, carriers, overseas agents, and internal teams.
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays or service issues.
- Maintain accurate shipment data within One World and other company systems.
- Ensure all activities comply with company procedures and transport regulations.
- Deliver excellent customer service and manage expectations professionally.
- Monitor costs, margins, and profitability for each shipment.
- Negotiate rates and service requirements with carriers and suppliers when required.
- Provide regular updates and reporting on shipment status and operational performance.
- Identify opportunities to promote additional services and support business growth.
- Escalate operational or commercial concerns to management promptly.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

What will you be doing?
- Manage the full transport process, from booking through to final delivery.
- Communicate with customers, internal teams, hauliers, and international partners to keep operations running smoothly.
- Coordinate transport, secure capacity, and negotiate rates when needed.
- Prepare transport documentation, invoices, and handle operational administration.
- Monitor shipments and resolve issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage costs and support revenue and profitability targets.
About You
