The ideal candidate will have Builder Merchant experience
This is a Full Time Permanent position and a great opportunity
The candidate will be rostered to work every second Saturday as part of a team Rota
Purpose of Position
- Reporting to the Branch Manager or Sales Office Supervisor/Manager
- Ensuring the efficient processing and follow-up of customer enquiries
- Maintaining effective communications with our suppliers regarding the sourcing and delivery of products.
- Supporting and liaising with our External Sales Representatives to ensure that customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently
- Building and maintaining successful customer relationships ensuring focus on the achievement of long-term customer loyalty
- Assisting with Trade Counter Sales and enquiries during busy periods as required
Main Areas of Responsibility
- Providing quotations for customers
- Dealing with customers both face to face and over the telephone
- Giving excellent customer service and sound product advice
- Taking a proactive approach to product sales using every opportunity to make or increase a sale
- Generate new business with existing and new customers
- Upsell on existing customers
- Quote follow up
