HR Officer

Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a HR Officer for a large company based in D 18
The HR Officer role is full time and permanent.
The role will be part home based and part office based) driven by the changing requirements of the
business.
The role will report to the Head of People.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the TUPE inwards and outwards ensuring that new staff are welcomed
    into the company and all legal rights are protected
  • Oversee the employee appraisal process and ensure that records are kept
  • Following the appraisal process ensure that any L&D needs are met through both internal
    and external training programmes
  • Establish and manage programmes that optimise employee retention
  • Travel to various sites to meet with staff to discuss their issues
  • Participate in filling promotional vacancies
  • Participate in performance development initiatives
  • Participate in the grievance/disciplinary process as required

Minimum Skills and Experience Required:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a HR support role with a strong working knowledge of
    employment law
  • Experience in creating and delivering developmental training courses
  • Experience in investigation, grievance and disciplinary processes
  • Understanding and experience in TUPE transfers
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal in fluent English
  • Capable of working alone and making effective and timely decisions
  • Ability to present information to management and staff
  • The ability to balance the rights of the staff with the needs of the business
  • Strong people skills and proven leadership ability
