HR Manager

Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a HR Manager for a large company based in Wicklow

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a large company

The person will be expected to be a key driver of all of the people initiative for the company’s 170 staff.

Their responsibilities will include leading employee relations and people development.

They will also take the lead when it comes to recruitment and retention of staff.

This role is seen as vital to the success and growth of the business.

Responsibilities:

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS:

· Liaise and engage with all staff, identifying opportunities for the company to improve

· Support employees in the resolution of workplace-related issues

· Advise and participate in disciplinary process/grievance procedures when required, in compliance with legislation, best practice and Company policy and procedures

PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT:

· Manage induction training

· Work with managers to devise ongoing training programs for all staff

· Work with the highest potential staff to supercharge their development

ADMINISTRATION:

· Maintain HR files for all staff in relation to Employment contracts, Sick Leave, Holidays,

Parental Leave, Maternity Leave, Retirements.

RECRUITMENT

· Sourcing new employees via adverts or social media

· Liaise with the payroll department ensuring all appropriate information is processed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources
  • Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
  • Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
  • Attention to detail and good judgement
