HR Administrator

Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a HR Administrator Part time for a large company in D 18

This is an excellent oppetunity to grow within a large company

This is a part time and permanent position based on either three full days or five half days per week. The option to work from home is currently available while Covid 19 restrictions apply. 

The successful candidate will need to have a strong understanding of Irish employment law and experience in handling enquiries relating to this.

They must also understand TUPE transfer processes and procedures.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that administrative work around staff transferring in and out (TUPE) is completed correctly and in a timely manner
  • Responding to operational manager queries and offering guidance in relation to disciplinary and performance issues
  • Track long term sick leave and maintain communication with absent staff
  • Manage the administration around Maternity Leave


  • Proven ability of delivering to challenging deadlines
  • Clear track record of working effectively in situations that require sound decision making and may involve confidential or sensitive matters
  • Solid understanding of current Irish employment legislation and compliance
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to use judgment skills to identify and resolve issues satisfactorily
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both on own initiative and in a team environment

Minimum Skills and Experience Required:

  • Fluency in English with strong verbal and written skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Capable of handling sensitive information with complete confidentiality
  • A good knowledge of computer-based systems
  • Minimum 2 year’s experience working in a similar position

The ability to act appropriately when presented with a crisis
