Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Group Financial Accountant for a large company based in Dun Laoghaire

The Role
The role will be Financial Accountant mainly focused on the Irish entity but provide accounting support to the Group. You will be responsible for AP & AR invoice processing, supporting the accounts month end processes, budget/cash analysis & supporting the wider finance team locally and throughout the Group.
Key Responsibilities
· Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
· Preparation of monthly management accounts.
· Assist in audit processes, including responding to auditor queries.
· Assist with budgeting and forecasting process.
· Maintaining fixed asset register.
· Provide support to relevant IT initiatives and systems projects, as appropriate.
· Identify and assist with implementation of process improvements.
· Ad hoc reporting to facilitate and support local and Group finance teams.
· Manage the day- to day operation of the procurement process.
· Analyse stock levels of group affiliates.
· Preparation of purchase and sale orders.
· Letters of credit pack compilation and submission to the financial institutions.
Qualification/ Person Specification
· 2 – 3 years’ accounting experience
· Experience in month end close process
· Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
· Proficient in MS Office; Excel essential
· Strong IT skills and familiarity with financial accounting and reporting systems
· Knowledge and experience in Procurement /Logistics/Supply Chain an advantage but not a requirement
· Flexible approach with the ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
· Communication and interpersonal skills
