Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a General Operative/ Yard Person for a large company based in D 12

The ideal person will have A keen interest / Knowledge/ Back-Ground in the Hire Business/ Articulated Vehicles Etc An ability to work on your own initiative
This work is varied, challenging, requires excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail. Knowledge of Microsoft office an advantage
2 different shifts are Monday To Friday 7am to 4pm and 9am to 6pm
As part of the role , The role will also consist of taken the after hours call based on rotation( three week cycle.)

- To take on responsibility of our after-hours emergency calls on a three -week cycle.
Requirements
- To increase your knowledge of articulated trailers / hire business
- An eagerness to learn all aspects of running a large logistics park
- To use the in-house system and our Database to the fullest
- To take responsibility of running the daily stock and stock report from our in-house system
- To build confidence to deal with customer/drivers booking in and out trailers
- To have the confidence to deal with customers both efficiently and professionally by phone and in person
- The ability to carry out damage checks and to take Tyre readings
- To learn to carry out various curtain and body repairs
- To ensure the park is always kept to the highest standard of cleanliness with the emphasis on your own and to customers, Health and Safety.
