Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Food Quality Assurance Officer for a large company based in Ballymount
This is a Permanent position and a great opportunity to join a large company
Duties will include:
- Work with each business area to put in place good systems to ensure the business meets all HACCP and Food Safety standards
- Visit and assess the wholesale, retail and restaurant areas of the company to ensure HACCP records are maintained and all food safety systems and related information is kept up-to-date and functioning efficiently
- Proactively work with each department to remove products, when alerts are received
- Meet with required bodies e.g. HSE and respond to audits or related requests, when required
- Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of related Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation and any developments that affect the industry
- Requirements:
- Third level qualification in Occupational Health & Safety
- Proven food safety experience in a multi site environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Auditing skills
- An ability to work to tight deadlines
- Full clean drivers licence
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
