Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer for a large company based in D 11

This will be challenging, and varied role given the range and complexity of the equipment. The role offers a good opportunity for progression in a fast growing and exciting company.
Ongoing training with and travel to the suppliers is a feature of this role.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Deal with incoming technical enquiries and make field visits where required to demo / commission / repair equipment into an established and developing customer base.
- Travelling to suppliers for training will be required.
- Communicate with established supply partners in the supply and delivery of customer projects and new technologies.
- Work closely with Product & Account Managers in the smooth delivery of customer projects and targets.
- Trade background & in-line production/maintenance experience desirable.
- On site field/service experience dealing with machine installations and breakdowns.
- 2 years’ experience in a relevant field within packaging or of end of line machinery with capabilities to include shrink wrappers, case erectors, robotics & pallet security equipment to be a complete solutions provider for end of line packaging and systems.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills together with an inherent drive to succeed. An ability to work within a team environment and yet have the focus to lead by example, are desirable attributes.
