Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Facilities Manager for a large company based in Co Dublin
This is a full time Permanent position and a chance to gain a long term career
Normal Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. However, flexibility is required to meet the demands of the business.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Site wide ownership and accountability for facilities and maintenance requirements
- Management of budget and P&L for maintenance and preventative maintenance
- Accountable for ensuring onsite fuel levels in line with daily requirements
- Management of forklift supplier and repairs as well as maintenance schedule and records
- Management of security and CCTV
- Identification of potential improvements on site and presenting cost benefit of change
- Ensure the structural environment meets all health and safety requirements
- Using agreed metrics and measurement techniques to be able to demonstrate delivery of agreed service levels
- Manage all services essential to the smooth running of the business, ensuring site is clean and organised e.g. waste disposal, cleaning, security, mail, reception, catering, archive facilities, recycling
- Optimise and manage space and resource allocation across buildings
- Align plans for future development with the strategic business objectives of the company
- Respond and plan for all contingencies and emergencies
- Organise and co-ordinate fire evacuation
- Manage the document flow for all contractor tenders
- Prepare site regulations and issue permits to work for all contractor activities on site
- Project manage all change activities to disrupt core activities minimally
- Oversee work by contractors and staff ensuring it has been completed to specification, following up and addressing any shortcomings
- Implement and manage HSSE procedures working with the HSSE team to deliver a healthy and safe working environment
- Ensure site is always fully stocked with equipment and consumable supplies
- Manage maintenance and site audits ensuring recommendations are addressed in a timely manner
- Manage 3rd party security provider to ensure site adequately covered and always manned
Skills Requirements:
- Experience working in a similar environment and industry
- Detailed knowledge of and strong experience in building services and maintenance, construction, and property management
- Results driven, with a strategic mind-set
- Have a dynamic approach to continuous improvement and proven ability in implementing change management
- Solution orientated with the ability to work under pressure and resolve business critical issues that arise during core operational hours and outside of these hours
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and be accountable for tasks and actions
- Working knowledge of principles and practices of business administration
- Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and environment regulations
- Strong supervisory experience
Education, Qualifications and Experience:
- Educated to a degree level with a suitable qualification in Facilities Management, Property Management or Construction Management
- Membership of the IWFM, RICS or other professional body, NEBOSH or IOSH qualified
- 6+ years’ experience in Facilities Management and will have a demonstratable track record of being the responsible manager of a large corporate office or similar facility
