The candidate will have previous experience as a Director of Nursing and will have the requirements as per HIQA for a Director of Nursing role.
Job Specs & Requirements for DON:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as DON or ADON in an Irish nursing home within the last 6 years
- Strong record of regulatory compliance and HIQA inspections
- Level 6-8 management qualification
- Experience managing teams, budgets, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Full, clean NMBI registration
- Must meet all HIQA standards for the role
Calibre of Candidate:
- Proven track record in regulatory compliance and quality
- Experience with HIQA inspections and reporting
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Able to lead and motivate a multi-disciplinary team
- Previous success in driving improvements and maintaining standards
