Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Customs Broker for a large Customs Team based in Dublin 15

Experience in customs software such as Thyme-IT and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

Shift — Numerous different Shifts rqd to be covered – 06.00 – 15.00,10.00-19.00, 13.00 — 22.00, one weekend day per month
Key Responsibilities:
· Completing UK and Ireland Import and export customs entries in accordance with customs regulations.
· Creating and discharging T1 & T2 documents.
· Creating GMR/ENS & PBN’s.
· Ensuring the release procedure is monitored and the processes in place are followed in an efficient manner.
· Collaborate with internal teams and clients to provide timely updates on shipment statuses.
· Verify and check shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, health certs.
· Maintain accurate records of customs documentation and ensure all records are up to date.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in customs clearance, logistics, or freight forwarding is preferred.
- Strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures, especially in relation to import/export in the EU.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in relevant customs software such as Thyme-IT and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade agreements is a plus.
