Customer Service Representative

Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative for a large company based in D 10

Role

To deliver professional, high-quality advice and products to customers to ensure business growth, loyalty and customer satisfaction.

Key Tasks:

To maximise the value of profitability of the sales of the company’s products to all customers visiting the Trade Counter or contacting the company by telephone by ensuring that customers are dealt with efficiently, promptly and courteously

Customer Service:

· Ensure that all customers are dealt with in a friendly, efficient and prompt manner

· Advise the customer on which of our products to use and provide technical advice where necessary

· Deal with customer complaints in a professional manner and provide a prompt solution

· Ensure that there is sufficient manpower cover in Customer Service throughout business opening hours

Selling

· Maximise selling opportunities with both customers visiting the Trade Counter and those calling into customer Services

· Price in line with the company’s pricing structure and discount policy

· Ensure customers are made aware of monthly promotions (offering goods on promotion to customers where possible)

Support of Sales Representatives

· Pass on any sales leads to the relevant sales representative

· Receipt of calls from sales representatives and efficient and accurate processing of any orders they place

Administration

· Processing of picking lists in accordance with company procedures

· Operate company business software in accordance with company procedure

Organisation of Trade Counter

· Keep the Trade Counter area clean tidy and well presented

· Keep sufficient stocks of commercial literature and display so as to maximise customer’s exposure

· Keep trade counter stock replenished and organised

Person Spec:

We are looking for somebody with at the following:

  • Min 2 years Customer Service experience
  • Ideally some form of construction knowledge (either from previously working on a site or in construction sales)
  • Candidates must have a good get up and go and be at the start of their career with the ambition to move up in an organisation
  • No formal qualification is necessary but good telephone manor and PC skills are essential

You must be a driven individual with a desire to succeed.

Ideally you will have some knowledge of the construction industry and some customer service experience. In return we are offering a very competitive package to the right candidate
