Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Chef De Partie for a large company based in D 22

Reporting to the Head Chef, the Chef de Partie will be primarily responsible for assisting in preparation and presentation of food menu dishes to the highest standard.
Other Responsibilities include:
– Takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the senior chefs to meet the standard and the quality set by the Restaurant.
– Coordinates daily tasks with the Sous Chef.
– Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
– Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.
– Follows good HACCP practices for the proper handling and preparation of all food products at the right temperature.
– Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning.
– Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.
– Personally responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils.
To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will have had experience in a fast paced busy working environment. You will have a good working knowledge of food dishes, ingredients and cooking methods. You will have at least a conversational level of English and have a genuine interest in working in Hospitality.
