Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager (Ireland and UK) for a large company based in Dublin 3
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Business Development Manager within the Shipping Industry or Road and Ocean freight forwarding with strong Freight Forwarding industry knowledge
This is a Full Time Permanent position and a great opportunity to join a large company
There are 5 offices therefore candidate can work from either of the 5 offices in Dublin 3, Cork, Limerick ,Louth or South of Ireland
The role
- Business Generation:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, both with new clients and by expanding existing accounts.
- Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
- Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve business goals.
- Industry Knowledge:
Possess a strong understanding of the freight forwarding or shipping industry, including road and ocean freight.
- Communication and Negotiation:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for negotiating deals and addressing client concerns.
- Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement business development strategies, including setting clear goals and creating action plans.
- Market Research:
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Collaboration:
Work with other teams and offices to implement business development plan
Position:
Business Development Manager (Ireland and UK)
- Salary range: 50,000 – 70,000 (EUR / STG), negotiable with car allowance etc
- Develop and execute a sales and marketing strategy.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
- Experience in road and ocean freight forwarding
- Strong understanding of the Freight Forwarding industry
- This is a long-term position for someone who is looking to build a career within the shipping, ocean freight industry
