Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Administrative Assistant Accounts Payable for a large company based in Ballymount
This is a Permanent position
Hours are Monday to Friday 8 30 – 5 pm
This is a fast-paced and constantly evolving role that requires a confident person who is adaptable and willing to turn their hand to ad-hoc tasks as and when they arise.
Experience / Skills Required
- 1-2 years working in a busy accounts office with responsibility for posting purchase invoices and reconciling creditor statements on a monthly basis is essential.
- Fluent in English with an excellent telephone manner
- Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Capable of working on your own initiative and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Outlook, Excel & Word
- Previous experience using accounts packages is essential
- Excellent organisational skills and experience of working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Capable of building strong working relationships with colleagues & external clients
- A keen interest in accounts would be preferable
- Minimum Educational Requirement – Leaving Certificate (or equivalent)
Key Responsibilities - Reception duties (answering phones, taking messages, directing calls etc.)
- Issuing purchase order numbers to field engineers
- Monitoring & processing purchase invoices daily
- Monthly supplier reconciliations
- Supplier invoice query administration & resolution
- Assisting the Office Manager with the administration of Health & Safety Files
- Electrical Certification Administration
- Correlation of paperwork for staff expenses and processing to our accounts package Xero
Filing - Laminating
- Other ad-hoc tasks as and when required
