Reporting to the Financial controller the ideal candidate will have a passion for Numbers, Accounts Payable & Receivable
We arelooking for an efficient person who is a self-motivated individual with strong finance skills. Someone who has a can-do attitude, is positive and has good problem solving skills.
Location & position
The position is office based are located in Ashbourne, CO. Meath, (close to M50).
Perform accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions and ad hoc projects.
Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
- review and verify invoices.
- flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices.
- sort, code and match invoices, set invoices up for payment.
- enter and upload invoices into system, track expenses and process expense reports.
- prepare and process electronic transfers receipts and payments.
- prepare and perform cheque runs, post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.
- reconcile accounts payable & receivable transactions, prepare analysis of accounts.
- monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
- provide support to team with ad hoc projects.
Education and Experience
- knowledge & Experience of accounts Payable & Receivable.
- knowledge & experience of general accounting procedures.
- knowledge of relevant accounting software (such as Sage).
- 2-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience
