Accounts Administrator

Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Accounts Administrator for a large company based in D 11

This is a Full Time Permanent position and a great opportunity to work with a good team

The ideal candidate would be ATI qualified or part ACCA/ACA qualified (Or Similar)

Construction Industry experience working within Accounts as an Accounts Administrator would be ideal

The ambitious, driven and self-motivated individual that is looking to further their career working on the company’s financial functions

Candidate will report to the directors and have substantial experience in the role lists below.

 You will work closely with the Payroll administrator and General office administrator, with the objective to run the company financial functions to a high level of efficiency.

The type of person would have relevant experience as an Accounts Administrator in the construction industry.

You will be someone that has a desire to be successful and is prepared to make the commitment to a growing business to realise their full personal and financial potential.

The Role:

  • Accurate processing of purchase invoices
  • Working with cloud based software
  • Complete daily/weekly bank reconciliations
  • Timely payments to suppliers
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Follow up on all creditor related queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Complete monthly finance reporting
  • Maintaining the fixed assets register.
  • VAT/RCT returns – preparation and submission
  • Preparation of and posting of month end journals
  • Regular updates to Company Director
  • Liaising with site management and staff
  • Office based 5 day week.
  • Further financial functions will be required based on the above

The Successful Candidate should have:

· Minimum of 5+years experience in a similar role

· Confident in all aspects of financial accounting.

· Accounting Technician qualification / Part qualified ACCA/ACA desirable

  • Knowledge of Sage 50 / Xero desirable
  • Fluent English and good communication skills are essential
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • High level computer competencies
  • Organised and efficient, works on their own initiative.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
  • Team player and works collaboratively with others.

This role is for a person with higher level of previous experience in the role and would not be suitable for a recently qualified ATI participant.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €45,000.00-€50,000.00 per year
