Accounting Technician / Payroll Administrator

Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Accounting Technician/Payroll Administrator for a large company based in D 13

We are looking for a dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with the financial accountant to support the smooth running of the Accounts Department

The role is a part-time role, 3 days a week reporting to the financial accountant.

Key role and responsibilities –

  • Administer payroll for 35 – 60 employees (peak season) on a fortnightly basis
  • Ability to review rosters with variable hours across full time, part time and temporary staff
  • Payroll processing from rosters to uploading to payroll software and ROS.
  • Support financial accountant with forecasting of payroll and payroll reporting
  • Ensuring that the Club is keeping up with employment legislative requirements
  • Support financial accountant with bank reconciliation process
  • Assist with running of reports like monthly debtors report and membership count reports
  • Assist with analysis of sailing events and hospitality event
  • Support with monthly stock control reconciliation

Skills

  • A thorough and logical approach.
  • Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, excellent interpersonal and communicative skills.
  • Competent IT skills, particularly in the use of excel.
  • Qualified to accountant technician level or by experience

Pay: €34,000.00-€40,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 per week
