Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Experienced Import/ Export Clerk for a large company based in D 13

This is a full time Permanent position and an excellent opportunity to join a fantastic team and to learn and grow within the company

The hours for this role are Mon – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm

20 days holiday per year – Bank holidays off also

Requirements:

 Experience with Export and Import customs clearance in the EU for at least 5 years.

 Good Knowledge of customs legislation.

 Knowledge of software resources for work on customs clearance  – TSS /  Thyme-IT /  PBN /

GMR set up etc.

 Knowledge of legal nuances for the registration of the Company for the implementation of

work on filing declarations with customs.

 Previous experience working within a busy Customs Clearance Department

 Must have a passion for Customs and the Industry as a whole

Responsibilities:

 Elaboration of documents, selection of code, preparation of product descriptions, selection

of permits.

 Preparation of a Declaration for goods, submission, responses to customs requests, release

control.

 Verification of the authenticity of shipping documents and compliance of the transported

goods with information about them.

 Advising Clients on customs clearance issues.

 Elaboration of customer requests.

 Shipping and Administration duties

 Customer service and good strong communication with queries in relation to requests
