This is a Full Time position and a great oppetunity to join a busy team

The ideal candidate will have worked as a Technician within the Motor Industry within Ireland

About the role:

As a technician you will report to the Workshop Controller
Servicing vehicles to the highest standards of the group as well as the manufacturers’ specifications and guidelines
In our state-of-the-art facilities, diagnosing, testing and repairing faults using the latest technologies
Working with our brand range including the latest release models including PHEV and EV
You will receive up to date training in relevant technologies as the brands evolve, upgrade and grow their range and models
You will be working with the team performing and reporting on vehicle health checks
Your will liaising with the service desk to communicate requirements, additional parts and repairs on customer vehicles.
Working as part of a team, supporting the training of apprentices and helping colleagues

Skills and experience:

Up to 3 years’ experience as a technician, 4th year apprentice or completed a masters automotive programme in a European training centre – and have gained some experience in a workshop
Ability to diagnose, test and repair faults using the latest technology.
Experience working with EV and PHEV vehicles is not essential but an advantage
Attention to detail when completing documentation and IT systems
Be literate, numerate with fluent written & spoken English and good communication skills
Full, valid, clean driving licence
Knowledge and understanding of health and safety practices in the industry
