Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting an Experienced Technical Sales Administrator for a large company based in D 09
This is an excellent opportunity for a person with Plumbing and Heating product knowledge to gain a long-term career with an excellent company.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for Plumbing and Heating or has previously worked hands on as a Plumber and knowledge of AutoCAD is needed.
The Technical Sales Administrator will work within the Sales and Technical Department supporting customers with technical advice and design assistance.
A full induction and product training programme will allow the successful candidate to excel in this role however previous knowledge is needed.
Position Description:
- Sales order processing and quotation preparation
· Build relationships and trust with customers, be a key part of their buying decisions.
· Promote new and existing product ranges
· Represent the company at industry Trade Shows and marketing events
· Create system installation schematics for heating & hot water systems
- Ensure that the finished design is easy to install and runs in an efficient manner
- Provide advice on our product integration with renewable technologies solutions to meet government legislation
- Process and track orders and maintain close communication with customers from order date to delivery of goods and after sales support if required
- Work with and support sales & technical team to achieve sales targets
Requirements:
- Third level qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., mechanical engineering/sustainability/building services/energy) Or Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
· A keen eye for detail and good working knowledge of AutoCAD
· A blend of sales ability and technical knowledge
· BIM knowledge advantageous but not essential
· Working knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and EN standards
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills (customer focussed)
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Be open to variation in job role as required i.e. flexibility essential in line with needs of the company
· Be a good team player but must also be able to work on own initiative
