Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Site Manager – Retail for a large company based in Kildare
This is an excellent opportunity and will be a 6 month FTC to start with
We are looking for a highly motivated and capable manager to lead the team
The successful candidate will have experience supervising staff in a busy large retail environment and have a proven track record of excellent customer service standards and the ability to lead and develop people. This position will report to the Group Operating Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Tactical management of all services and processes that support the core business to deliver a first class standard consistently
- Respond appropriately to any client request and take immediate and appropriate remedial action
- Ensure staffing is at the agreed levels at all times
- Remain vigilant and proactive thus ensuring that the site is maintained in excellent condition
- Communicate regularly and clearly both with the client and the staff
- Ensure that all H&S standards and regulations are adhered to
- Ensure all stock is kept at sufficient levels
- Carry out site inspections and audits to an agreed schedule
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is kept is good working order
- Ensure that all staff are trained to the required standards and are clear of what is expected of them
- Take appropriate steps to deal with non-conformance including being involved in disciplinary issues with staff
Minimum Skills and Experience Required:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A highly flexible attitude with regard to days and hours worked
- A strong eye for detail in customer service delivery
- A desire and strong understanding of how to deliver an excellent customer experience
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with fluency in English
- An understanding of good Health & Safety standards and the ability to ensure they are understood and adhered to
- A proven track record of leading and managing an effective team with the ability to manage any performance issues appropriately
