Senior People Culture Generalist (HR, People and Culure)

Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Senior People Culture Generalist  ( HR) for a large company based in Dublin 12 Ballymount

The primary purpose for this role is to support the business in delivering a best in class People & Culture strategy.  

The ideal candidate will have an appetite to gain experience in all areas of HR and take a leading role in the service delivery of P&C strategic projects. 

What You will Do…

  • Lead IR/ER cases that are in line with company policies and procedures
  • Ensuring employee & contractor files are fully compliant, up to date and monitored in line with GDPR and Employment Law legislation
  • Gather and collate data on training requirements across all areas of the business and report to P&C team on trends
  • Train managers in the use of our Employee Self Service (ESS) system and following up on SLAs set for approvals
  • Assist in documenting meetings in disciplinary and grievance cases
  • Proactively lead & manage absence cases
  • Manage employee requests for Protective leave in line with company policies and legislative requirements
  • Liaise with the Payroll manager on updating payroll files for weekly and monthly payroll and liaise with Finance on preparing reports for external payroll for NI
  • Assist in monitoring and responding to queries in the HR mailbox
  • Support in the review and development of company policies and procedures
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned 

What You will Have…

  • 3rd level qualification in Human Resource Management essential
  • 5 years experience in a fast paced HR / P&C environment essential
  • Strong IR/ER experience essential
  • CIPD membership would be advantageous
  • High volume recruitment and Interviewing skills essential
  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
  • Experience working with a HR / P&C and Time and Attendance system (TMS/ Bamboo preferred)
  • Ability to work on own initiative according to tight deadlines
  • Excellent organisational skills, presentation skills, time management and attention to detail
  • Driver’s license required as travel may be required
