Job Summary:
As the HR Manager, you will lead and oversee all aspects of human resources management and operations. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing HR strategies and initiatives to support the organisation’s goals and objectives. In addition to managing HR functions, you will also be responsible for overseeing operational aspects such as facilities management, health and safety compliance, and employee engagement activities.

This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive positive change and foster a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.

Responsibilities:

  1. HR Leadership and Strategy:
    • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational objectives.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team and ensure the effective delivery of HR services and support.
    • Partner with senior management to address HR-related challenges and drive initiatives to support business growth.
  2. Talent Acquisition and Management:
    • Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates for various positions.
    • Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
    • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback to employees, and support career development initiatives.
  3. Employee Relations and Engagement:
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
    • Implement employee engagement initiatives and programs to foster a positive work environment and enhance employee morale and satisfaction.
    • Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and effective manner, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
  4. Training and Development:
    • Identify training and development needs and develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
    • Collaborate with department heads to identify training priorities and ensure alignment with business objectives.
    • Track and evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
  5. Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
    • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Manage legal compliance for the organization and mitigate risks related to HR and employment matters.
  6. Operations Management:
    • Oversee operational aspects such as facilities management, office supplies, and equipment procurement.
    • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including setting up new employees with necessary resources and conducting exit interviews.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in HR management, including leadership roles and strategic planning.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment law.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage and develop a diverse team.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
