Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Group Quality Assurance Manager for a large company based in Wicklow
Reporting to the board of Directors, the Group Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for maintaining and driving continuous improvement of Quality and Compliance within the company.
The Group Quality Assurance Manager will ensure a culture of continuous improvement is in place to drive improved compliance, effectiveness, and efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent the company regarding all matters of Quality.
- Manage and update the Quality Management Manual.
- Evaluate, write and/or review operating procedures (e.g. SOPs), and perform other activities in support of an integrated cross-functional Quality Management System (QMS).
- Plan and supervise Quality System Audits and evaluate any necessary corrective actions.
- Provide necessary support and technical expertise to other Business units and to Project Quality discipline.
- Evaluate the Quality Systems of suppliers and sub-contractors during the pre-qualification phase.
- Allocate Quality personnel to various duties and/or projects.
- Liaise with the authorised Company Quality System certification body.
- Prepare Management Review meetings of the Quality System.
- Train all personnel about Quality System issues, management, methodologies, and implements the necessary training programs for Quality personnel.
- Propose preventive measures, promote, and implement improvement programs.
- Plan and assess project audits, results and analyse non-conformities.
- Supervise the definition and implementation of customer satisfaction tools and activities.
- Foster a commitment to quality in individuals and a culture of quality within the organisation.
- Assist the Proposal Manager during the bidding phase.
- Ensure that analysis of data coming from projects is forwarded to corporate level.
- Interface with the representative of Risk Management.
- Manage document management system ensuring its maintenance and updating, cooperating with different company functions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in a QA Management Role within an Construction/Engineering industry and a relevant formal qualification would be preferred.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Office Visio.
- Membership of a relevant professional body – (Chartered Quality Institute) preferred.
- Must have training in internal and external auditing to ISO 9001.
- Excellent communicator, verbal and written.
- Excellent team player.
- Resourceful, well organised, highly dependable, efficient and detail orientated.
- Confident and assertive.
- Ability to use initiative and make decisions autonomously.
- Knowledge of CE marking.
