Impulse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Business Development Executive Part time for a large company in Dublin working remote
Our client is looking to expand the Business Development Team in the coming months, and so we’re on the hunt for a Business Development Executive (Part-Time, flexible but 10 to 15 hours per week) to join the team.
The role
Our client need people to call businesses who aren’t expecting you, to find the right person, keep in touch with them and then set up an appointment when the time is right. Some people call that “cold calling”. For the right person, this role can progress into either a full-time role, or a more senior role in the future. They offer a basic hourly rate plus commission on sales, and the goal is to help you be successful.
You
You’re might be looking for your way into a business / sales role, but you may not have the experience that most of these positions are looking for. Maybe you’ve worked in retail, in hospitality or on an airline, or you’re tired of working evenings / weekends. You might be looking for something part time to fit in with your family life, or other part-time work.

You get the idea. You just need to do the work and make plenty of calls, and be prepared for the fact that most of them will be to people who don’t really want to speak to you right now.
Totally flexible on everything else, it’s a Work From Home position so you need good phone reception, decent WiFi, and a good sense of humour. We’ll show you exactly what to do and support you every step of the way.

Remuneration
As this is a part-time position, the salary is pro-rata based on a full time salary of €28,000 p.a., for the equivalent 40 hour work week. They also pay commission of 10% on invoiced sales. Given the nature of our business and what we sell, we would expect that it could take 3 months to begin to win clients, and commission is paid in the month that training takes place.
